This book features Vicente Podico Lim from Calamba, Laguna. He went to West Point where he gained the name " Cannibal" being the first Filipino to graduate from this Academy.He was a survivor of the Bataan Death March and later on traveled to Australia under the orders of Gen. MacArthur. He was captured, tortured and beheaded by the Japanese soldiers. His remains were never found but he was given the honor of the Legion of Merit and the Purple Heart posthumously and was commemorated for his bravery and heroism in the Philippine 1,000 peso bill.
